Most Lojban consonants are the same as English, but there are some exceptions:
always g as in gum, never g as in gem
sh, as in ship
as in measure or French bonjour
as in German Bach, Spanish Jose or Arabic Khaled
The English sounds ch and j are written as tc and dj.
Lojban doesn't use the letters H, Q or W.
